Wedding Day Coordinator NY -Services

While a day of wedding coordinator sounds as if the person is only working on your wedding day, my services will actually start a few weeks before the big day.
My full services include:

Acting as a NYC Month of Wedding Coordinator:

  1. Initial consultation 4 weeks prior to the wedding day to become acquainted and gather details.
  2. Formulate a plan and a day of wedding itinerary / timeline.
  3. Collect vendor contact info (venues, florist, caterer, band, dejay, photos, video, officiants, etc).
  4. Contact contracted vendors to relay timelines, confirm arrangements, contracts and balances.
  5. 2nd meeting or phone call with you prior to the wedding to go over any changes.
  6. Collect non-vendor items to be brought and set up at venues (candles, guest book, favors, etc).
  7. Preview the ceremony and reception site(s).
  8. Ongoing and unlimited contact with me via phone and email during the final 4 weeks.
  9. Rehearsal (OPTIONAL) - I direct and teach every member of your bridal party how they will be.

And, as a NYC Day of Wedding Coordinator:

  1. Arrive to your suite prior to the ceremony to assist with any final tasks.
  2. Get marriage license signatures and deliver it to the officiant.
  3. Make final phone calls to vendors, assist in locating the bridal party and family members.
  4. Assist with first photos.
  5. Visit ceremony site to make sure all vendors are on time and deliveries are received.
  6. Transport, distribute or arrange programs, favors etc.
  7. Visit reception site to make sure all vendors are present and setup.
  8. Oversee proper setup of decor at the venue (tables, centerpieces, linens).
  9. Confirm proper placement of seating cards, wedding favors, etc.
  10. Distribute copies of your wedding day itinerary to all necessary vendors.
  11. Let ushers know when to start escorting guests.
  12. Line up friends/family for photos before and/or after the ceremony.
  13. Procession / Recession and Grand Entrance coordination.
  14. Before the bride makes her grand entrance, make sure she has had a sip of water, that her bouquet is in hand, that her train is properly spread out behind her, and that she is as relaxed as possible.
  15. After the ceremony, collect any items that need to be saved.
  16. At the reception, speak with the caterer to confirm the schedule will be adhered to.
  17. Supervise the proper timeline of the cocktail hour and hors d' oeuvres.
  18. Work closely with the Band or MC for entrances, first dances, bouquet toss, etc to assure they are following the wedding schedule and are cued for correct music playing.
  19. Oversee that the caterer is distributing food & drinks to your guests at the appropriate time.
  20. Invite photographer, dj, band obtaining a break to eat.
  21. Set aside items that need to be stored away safely (money box, gifts, personalized items, etc).
  22. Ensure a bride/groom container with a meal from the reception, and cake to be enjoyed later.
  23. Distribute final payments and gratuities to all vendors on your behalf.
  24. Help transport presents and bridal items to the car or room.
  25. Arrange farewell at the end of the event.
  26. A follow up meeting after the wedding, to review and ensure you were pleased with my coordinating service. As well as answer any questions you may have.
  27. Wedding Emergency Kits - if a need arises, we probably have the solution in one of our kits; I come prepared.

*  Please note that the above services can be modified to fit your specific wedding needs.

The result? A relaxed, worry-free day.

No one (except me!) needs to look at a watch on your special day. Your family and friends are free to enjoy themselves, letting me handle all of the logistics.
